Recording and Playing Live in Montreal

Back in Hamilton after a stint in Montreal seeing family & friends and recording 2 songs. My old friend JM Leblanc was producing. He previously produced my band Parsimony in 2006.

We worked in a friend’s home studio, and later we did drums in the jamspace at Cite 2000. The experience brought back so many memories. Part of me wishes I would’ve kept going with music back in my 20s. But I chose another path and my life turned out OK so far. Thankfully I can still play guitar and sing. I have mWe did some work in his trippy home studio. We had good energy. I hope I'm scratching the surface of something profound. Long road ahead to figure this out. Rio Grande Reflections

The first of a few pieces I call 'photo poems': The photos were taken in Big Bend National Park, near the Rio Grande which is the natural border with Mexico. We were in the middle of the road trip of a lifetime from L.A. to Toronto via New Orleans. On a sidenote, it's very cute to hear a 3 year old say, "Alabama". Here's my wife and son in the Rio Grande. The river flows on both sides of the island to their right and it's not clear whether they're in Mexico or The States. Dorian Satoshi Nakamoto - the man Newsweek erroneously called out as the creator of Bitcoin in 2014 - recently surprised everyone by appearing on Reddit to share his thoughts on Bitcoin.
