Advice For My 22-Year-Old Self: Art Vs. Commerce


Art and commerce should absolutely mix. Art plays a critical role in global conversations. Art shapes the Why before the Why shapes the economy. But if you don't seek a purpose greater than yourself, then it is like you are scuttling your creative vision on the beaches of an uninhabited isle.

Rio Grande Reflections

The first of a few pieces I call 'photo poems': The photos were taken in Big Bend National Park, near the Rio Grande which is the natural border with Mexico. We were in the middle of the road trip of a lifetime from L.A. to Toronto via New Orleans. On a sidenote, it's very cute to hear a 3 year old say, "Alabama". Here's my wife and son in the Rio Grande. The river flows on both sides of the island to their right and it's not clear whether they're in Mexico or The States. Dorian Satoshi Nakamoto - the man Newsweek erroneously called out as the creator of Bitcoin in 2014 - recently surprised everyone by appearing on Reddit to share his thoughts on Bitcoin.
